As your elected representative, I pledge
- To work to reduce your taxes by reducing frivolous and redundant government spending.
- To sponsor or cosponsor practical, meaningful legislation – not bills just to ‘have my name on the paper’.
- To consider every vote as if it is the only one I’ll be judged on – by those who elected me or by a Higher Authority.
- To put integrity and principle ahead of political gain.
I believe, as do so many of you that a Free Man - or Woman - does not ask permission:
- To bear arms.
- To speak his mind to his neighbor or his government
- To address his Creator when and where he chooses
The Constitution of the United States filled one sheet of paper. The Constitution of the State of Arizona fills a book – and the ‘Arizona Revised Statutes’ derived from it fill volumes, and every one of those laws affects your daily life, your taxes, the food you eat, the house you live in, the car you drive and the roads you drive it on. With your help and support, with your votes, I will go to Phoenix not to make more laws, but to eliminate them – the bad laws, the contradictory laws, the unjust laws.
